Can I stitch the iris360 images myself?

Yes. You will have access to the raw data captured with iris360™ and these can be stitched using NCTech’s free desktop application Immersive Studio or other applications such as PTGui, Autopano Giga after exporting the JPEGs from Immersive Studio.

Immersive Studio doesn't run on a mac or linux, now how do I stitch them myself?

We all use Macs in the office ourselves. We use either Parallels or Bootcamp to run it on a Mac.

    Dear Sirs,
as you recommend using RAW output only to achieve best results (in FAQ article: How Can I Get The Best Possible Image Quality From Iris360?) it becomes very desirable to add OSX support for Immersive Studio as well. The fact that you don't, at the moment, is disappointing. Also I'd like to inform you that you can't run Immersive Studio on Macs through CrossOver software as Immersive Studio is 64 bit only, what makes it impossible to run through emulation.
    Thank you.

I want to use Kolor Panotour, but once in Immersive Studio, I've no way to export the unstitched images, it only transforms the .nctir to one big stitched jpeg.
    What I am missing ?

    Hi Wojciech,

You can run Immersive Studio on a Mac through emulation. We use Parallels without any issue at all. It depends if you install Windows 64 bit or 32 bit.

If your emulator can't install windows 64 but that's a limitation of that particular emulator.

    Hi YG,

In Immersive Studio, UNCHECK "Stitch Images" and CHECK "Export Source JPEGS".

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for the answer, I missed the checkbox, my bad.

    Thanks for the reactive support!

(I'd like a Mac port of the Immersive Studio too, but ok to work with Parralels or Bootcamp)
