Is the timelapse functionality already implemented cause I have faced issues, it doesn't recognise the 1st image of the set of panoramas, and hence does not create the output video or individual panoramas?

Yes it is. But how are you processing the time lapse sequence?

Are you using the normal option or the special "process time lapse" option?

  • Avatar
    Thomas Demolliens

Normal option, half resolution, 15.fps, no HDR. It can't find the 1st image of the 1st pano.

I don't think that's the Time Lapse Function you are using... I think you are using the SDK?

    Thomas Demolliens

Nope, I use the latest version you released (iStudio 4.2) with the latest iStar firmware, nothing to do with SDK.

So I shoot the timelapse panos, get a folder for each pano, and select in iStudio the root on these panos to build the timelapse video (by selecting 'Process Timelapse). That's when I get the error message.

When you say "I shoot the timelapse panos" how are you doing this? Are you using the timelapse option on the unit and saving to the SD?

The reason why I ask is there is no option to set 15fps for time lapse when you use the timelapse feature on the unit and also you can only capture at full resolution.

I'm doing this by setting the time between each pano directly on the iStar, which was 5s in my test, which saves the x panos onto the SD.

The 15 fps option is on iStudio as well as the resolution, which I had guessed was the resolution of the output video file.

So what am I supposed to do to generate a panoramic timelapse video?

OK I understand now - sorry I thought you meant you had been "Capturing" at half res, 15fps. Can you create a Support Ticket about this and we'll take a look at your images for you?
